Not sure which shade? The welding shade guide has the OSHA table

The people who run the Sellstrom catalog write every page on sellstrom.co. Here is how a fact gets onto a page.

Facts about the products

Part numbers, shades, window sizes, materials, coatings and noise reduction ratings are taken from our own product data, one part at a time. A figure printed for one window is never carried over to another: if a part does not name its material, its page prints no material. A standard such as ANSI Z87.1, ANSI Z358.1 or CSA Z94.3 appears on a product page only where our product data for that part names it.

The photographs show our own products. Pictures with slogans, arrows or measurement charts printed over them stay off the site. The film on the home page is cut from our own footage of the range.

What we do not claim

We do not say a part meets OSHA requirements, because OSHA does not approve products; it sets what employers must provide. We do not promise that a lens is fog-proof or unbreakable, and we do not read a noise reduction rating as the protection a wearer actually gets. Where a page talks about hazards, shades or flushing, it names the source, and the source is linked from our guides.

Corrections

If a part number, a shade, a price or a sentence here is wrong, write to shopfloor@sellstrom.co. We fix the page and the product data behind it.
