Mini direct vent goggle for smaller faces

Adult goggles slide around on a narrow face and leave gaps at the cheeks. We cut this economy goggle smaller, so it settles onto smaller faces and still fits in tight spaces where a full size frame bumps a hood or a cabinet. The green tinted PVC body is light and soft enough to conform to your face, and the clear polycarbonate lens absorbs UV.

Direct vents let air move freely, which suits grinding, chipping and cutting where dust and chips, not liquid splash, are the hazard. You choose the lens finish. Part S83010 has an anti-fog coating that helps when the work gets warm or you step outside, and part S83000 is uncoated, a simple lens that you clean with a wipe. Adjust the strap so the body sits evenly all the way around.

Before you start

Safety glasses need side protection where particles fly, and goggles are the choice for chemical splash. Look for the marking on the lens or frame that names the standard.
