Gel and foam knee pads for all day kneeling

A full day on a tile floor tells you exactly what your knee pads are made of. Ours put a gel pad inside a triple layer closed cell foam pad 3/4 inch thick, so the gel cannot leak, and wrap it in a hard plastic shell built to take impact and sharp debris. A metal rivet hinge lets the pad bend with your knee when you get up and walk, and the foam has vent holes to let some heat out.

Two soft elastic woven straps sit well above and below the kneecap, which takes pressure off the joint itself, and speed clips let you take the pads off at the truck. A non marking grip strip keeps the shell from sliding on finished floors. You can pick plain Black or Orange/Black, which is easier to find in a dark crawlspace.

  • Sealed gel core

The gel sits inside closed cell foam, so it stays put and does not leak after long days on your knees.
  • Straps off the joint

Both straps sit well above and below the knee to cut pressure behind it while you kneel.
  • Grips without marking

A non marking grip strip on the shell holds on finished floors without leaving scuffs.

Before you start

NIOSH and OSHA give the same advice to anyone who kneels at work: wear knee pads when kneeling, and replace worn straps before a pad slides off the knee.
