Sport frame glasses for jobs that move outdoors

Walk from a shaded garage into full sun and a clear lens leaves you squinting at the driveway. These glasses carry an indoor/outdoor lens that takes the edge off bright light without going dark when you step back inside. The lens is a single piece of high impact polycarbonate with the side panels molded into it, so your eyes are covered from the front and the sides. A hard coat helps against scratches.

The heavy duty frame has black and yellow co-molded temples that flex a little and a soft nose piece, which matters when you wear them all day on a site, at the range or at a lab bench. We sell them as a single pair, marked to ANSI Z87.1. If you work mostly indoors under steady light, a clear lens is the better choice.

Before you start

Safety glasses need side protection where particles fly, and goggles are the choice for chemical splash. Look for the marking on the lens or frame that names the standard.
