Foam sealed glasses that switch to a strap

Wind on a roof drives grit around the edges of ordinary glasses. The SRX closes that gap with a flame resistant closed cell foam insert that sits against your face, so dust and airborne particles have to get past the seal. The polycarbonate lens carries our Sta-Clear anti-fog and anti-scratch treatment, and you can wash it. Out of the box you get soft co-molded temples and a fire resistant cloth strap, and you can swap one for the other when the job changes.

Pick the lens for your light. Clear Lens Tint is for indoor work and overcast days, I/O Lens Tint takes the edge off when you walk in and out of a building, and Smoke Lens is for steady bright sun. All three are marked to ANSI Z87.1 and CSA Z94.3.

Before you start

Safety glasses need side protection where particles fly, and goggles are the choice for chemical splash. Look for the marking on the lens or frame that names the standard.
