Gravity eyewash for sites without plumbing
Water lines rarely reach the corner of a yard where you decant cleaners or service batteries. This station carries its own water, so you can stand it on a flat surface beside the hazard or hang it on the epoxy coated steel wall bracket that comes with it. Pull down the yellow tray and the dual spray heads start, which leaves both hands free to hold your eyelids open through a 15 minute flush.
A drain hose of 3 feet carries the used water to a floor drain or a holding tank, so nobody rinses while standing in a puddle. We mark the station to ANSI Z358.1 for portable eyewash units. Set it within a few seconds of the work, keep the path clear, and refill and inspect it on your safety plan's schedule.
The Portable Gravity-Flow Eyewash Station is on the Eyewash stations shelf of the Sellstrom safety lineup.

Before you start
The national standard asks for a 15-minute flush from a station no more than 10 seconds away. Check a station on the schedule its manual gives, and keep the cover on between uses.
