Odyssey II spare lens in three tints

A goggle body often outlasts its lens by years. Once the lens is pitted from grinding sparks or scratched from a season of wiping, you can drop a new one into your Odyssey II goggle instead of starting over. It is a sealed dual lens with a scratch resistant hard coat and an anti-fog coating that helps against the haze of hot, sweaty work.

Two choices set the part. First the fit: one version suits goggle models 80200, 80201 and 80290, another 80202 and 80291, and a third 80210 and 80211, so check the number on your goggle. Then the tint. Clear is for grinding and general work, Amber gives a warm tint for flat or dim light, and Shade 5 IR is for torch cutting and brazing, never for arc welding.

Before you start

IR tinted windows, visors and lenses are for torch work: brazing, gas welding and oxygen cutting. They are not a filter for an electric arc, where the OSHA table starts at Shade 7.
