XM340 wraparound glasses with bifocal readers

You can read a gauge or a part number without hunting for readers in your pocket. The XM340RX is our XM340 with a magnifying segment added to each lens. Dual polycarbonate lenses wrap around for wide coverage, carry a hard coat that helps them resist scratches, and block 99% of UV. Both ANSI Z87.1 and CSA Z94.3 are named for this frame.

Each lens is mounted with a small gap between it and the frame, and that ventilation space helps cut down on fogging. Soft rubberized temple tips, a soft nose piece and temples that curve inward keep the glasses from slipping when you look down at your work. Look straight ahead through the plain part of the lens, then drop your eyes to the reader for fine print.

  • Reader built in

A bifocal segment in each lens lets you read close work without a second pair of glasses.
  • Vented lens mount

A ventilation space between lens and frame helps reduce fogging as you work.
  • Slip resistant fit

Rubberized temple tips, a soft nose piece and inward curving temples hold the frame in place.

Before you start

Safety glasses need side protection where particles fly, and goggles are the choice for chemical splash. Look for the marking on the lens or frame that names the standard.
