Add chin coverage to any DP4 shield
Chips and splash that slip under the bottom edge of a face shield land on your neck and collar. This black chin guard adds coverage below the window on our DP4 face shields, and it fits every DP4 model, so you do not have to match it to one style of crown or window. It is the chin guard only. The shield itself is sold separately.
Add it when your work sends material upward or from below: grinding a weld on the underside of a frame, pouring into a bucket at waist height, or cutting above your head. Mount it to the shield you already wear and keep your safety glasses or goggles on underneath, since a shield and its guard are meant to cover your face, not to stand in for eye protection.

Before you start
A face shield goes over safety glasses or goggles, never instead of them. OSHA's guide says a shield alone does not stop an impact, and a pitted or scratched window is the cue to replace it.
