Hard hat face shield with a blue dual crown
On a site where the hard hat never comes off, a shield that rides on its own headgear is one more thing to juggle. This one clips straight into the slots of most slotted hard hats through our universal hard hat slot adapter, which comes with it. An extra large blue crown covers the brow above the window, and a chin protector closes the gap below, where chips from a grinder tend to travel.
The clear, extra wide window is scratch resistant and carries our Sta-Clear anti-fog coating, which helps when you go from a cold yard into a warm shop. You keep one hat on your head all day and the shield goes where the hat goes. The shield is marked to ANSI Z87.1 and CSA Z94.3, and like any face shield it goes on over your safety glasses, never instead of them.

A face shield goes over safety glasses or goggles, never instead of them. OSHA's guide says a shield alone does not stop an impact, and a pitted or scratched window is the cue to replace it.
