White dual crown shield with an anti-fog window

Two crowns hold this window: one at the brow and one over the top of your head, which keeps the shield steady when you lean over a brazing joint or tilt down to a cutting line. We build the white crown and chin guard from high impact polycarbonate and make the whole shield in the USA. The clear window carries an anti-fog coating that helps in warm, humid rooms, and it curves with your face against splashes, particles and flying debris.

The shield comes assembled on ratchet headgear, and a twist knob sets the height and fit. You wear your safety glasses underneath it. When the window scratches, you replace the window, not the shield, because every part is sold on its own. It is part S31140, marked to ANSI Z87+ and CSA Z94.3.

Before you start

A face shield goes over safety glasses or goggles, never instead of them. OSHA's guide says a shield alone does not stop an impact, and a pitted or scratched window is the cue to replace it.
