Nylon fixed front helmet with an extended crown

Overhead work is where a short helmet lets you down. We mold the Super Tuff shell from a tough nylon thermoplastic, keep it light on your neck, and stretch the crown farther back so sparks dropping from above land on the helmet instead of your hair. The outside is silver coated. Up front sits a fixed Sel-Snap window frame that takes a 4-1/4 by 5-1/4 inch filter plate, held by our snap retention system rather than screws.

A fixed front means you lower the whole helmet to see, which suits long runs at one bench more than frequent fitting. You choose the filter shade for your process and snap it in, and swapping a scratched cover plate takes seconds. The helmet is marked to CSA Z94.3, and part S29911 is this silver coated helmet.
