Inner and outer cover plates for the WHB1000
Spatter that lands on a cover plate is spatter that never reaches your auto darkening filter. This kit holds 5 outer and 5 inner clear cover plates for our WHB1000 Advantage Series helmet, so you can keep both faces of the filter guarded and swap a pitted plate the moment it starts to cloud your view of the puddle.
The outer plate takes the spatter and grinding sparks, and you will change it most often. The inner plate sits between the filter and your face and keeps dust and fingerprints off the back of it. Pull the old plate, wipe the filter, and seat the new one flat in the same position. With ten plates in the box, you can keep a spare in your helmet bag and another at the bench.

Pick the shade from your process and current with the OSHA table, start darker and go lighter until you see the weld zone, and replace cover plates once spatter clouds the view.
