Spare ratchet suspension for the WHB1000 helmet
If you weld in a WHB1000 Advantage Series helmet, this is the headgear made to go back into it. Part S27005 is a black ratchet suspension: you push the knob in and turn it to tighten, and it stays at that setting rather than loosening halfway through a long bead. A second ratchet strap runs low at the back of the head for a firmer hold.
Swap it when the band has gone slack, the knob slips, or the pads are past cleaning. Unclip the worn suspension from the shell, clip this one in, and set the height so the auto-darkening filter sits level with your eyes when the helmet is down. A fresh suspension is a small part, and it changes how your neck feels at the end of a shift.
